Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse - Low Carb Recipe

Sugar-free chocolate mousse Low-Carb is rich and creamy with less than 4 net carbs per serving. The slight bit of gelatin helps stabilize the foam, so that you can make in advance. Quick and easy to prepare.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • Boiling water 2 c
  • 1 cup Splenda
  • Half cup unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Ghiradelli)
  • 1.8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • Optional Garnish: whipped cream lightly sweetened with Splenda
  • Thin layer of unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation:

Chill a medium bowl in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, put cold water in a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin and let stand 1 minute. Add boiling water and stir until gelatin dissolves provide. Aside.

Cooling bowl, Splenda, cocoa powder, salt, cream and vanilla until blended to combine. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the mixture until stiff. You can not beat or you will you mixed with chocolate butter at the end. Stirring the mixture until gelatin.

Spoon chocolate mousse into dessert bowls or decorative martini glasses cream. 1-2 hours in the refrigerator before serving. Top with lightly sweetened whipped cream with Splenda and a dash of cocoa powder, if desired.

Can be booked in advance one day.

Yield: 4 (1/2 cup) servings 4 net carbs per serving
