Ingredients:
- 1.4 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 (29 ounces) peach halves (7-8 halves), well drained and dry
- 7-8 maraschino cherries, drained, dried and halved

- Cake:
- 1 (18 ounce) yellow cake mix pudding
- 1 package (3 reviews) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4.3 cup fresh orange juice (2-3 large oranges - peel juice ago)
- 1.2 cup oil
- 4.1 cup of peach schnapps
- 1 tablespoon orange zest (with a Microplane)
- 4 large eggs

- Salsa:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons peach liqueur
- Eighth teaspoon cinnamon
- .
- Option glaze:
- Powdered sugar 1 cup confectioners
- 1 tablespoon milk or cream
- 1-2 tablespoons peach liqueur
Preparation:
Place bottom of the pan, sprinkle with brown sugar. Peach halves, cut side up, in large slots on the bottom. Place cherry halves cut side up, between the fishing of small slits.
To make the cake: Combine cake mix, pudding, orange juice, oil, peach schnapps, orange peel and eggs moistened in a large bowl at low speed until, then at high speed for 2 minutes. Carefully spoon the mixture over the fruit, so it does not break position. Press gently on the counter to force the dough between peaches and cherries. Bake 55-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes on a wire rack. Using a wooden skewer, poke holes in top of warm cake (still in pan). Using a pastry brush, brush the sauce over the top of the cake. Leave on for 10 minutes, then turn the cake served on a plate. Cool completely before the possibility of paint.
For the sauce: While the cake baked, mix butter, peach schnapps and cinnamon in a small bowl until smooth.
Make the optional glaze: In a small bowl, cream and peach schnapps into the sugar, more alcohol flowing until glaze eyelashes. Pour. In a small zip-top bag, squeeze out the air and seal Cut some of the bottom corners of the bag and use it as a piping bag to drizzle the glaze over the cake.
Yield: 10-12 servings
