Grand Marnier sauce recipe

This sauce is easy to mix orange liqueur Grand Marnier with fresh orange juice. The sauce can be used as a glaze for chicken or pork or dessert sauce over fruit or cake layer.

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4.3 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, strained
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • A quarter cup of Grand Marnier

Preparation:

Butter cut into slices 4.1 inches. In a small saucepan, orange juice, sugar and orange zest, low heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes. Increase the heat and bring to a boil. The mixture becomes thick syrup. Whisk the mixture and add the butter, piece by piece. When thoroughly mixed, remove from heat and add the Grand Marnier served. Immediately.

Yield: about 1.1 / 4 cups
