Transcript: How to boil an egg perfectly

Hello, I'm the boss oak for About.com. Today we will learn how to cook the perfect egg.

What is a perfect hard boiled egg?

"Perfect" I mean perfect of color: bright yellow all yellow. Not overcooked, undercooked. In this pot I have 6 eggs. You can cook that you want or as little as you want.

Fill the pot with cold water

The eggs are in the pan with cold water, the water must be cold. Add water 1 inch above the eggs. This makes for a perfect kitchen. Let's say the eggs to cook high heat. Once the eggs come to a good cook so what you want to do is turn off the heat.

Remove from heat and cover

Cover and let stand for exactly 12 minutes. While eggs sit do what we want to what in a large bowl with ice water, which is used to call to impact their eggs for quick cooling in the kitchen and bath ice. This will prevent over-cooking and make them much easier to peel later.

Place the eggs in an ice bath

So after sitting for 12 minutes, which will take them directly from the pot and let it sit in an ice bath. And so it is like peeling the egg. Touch to you, press the bottom. And rolls. Wrap around the cutting board and everything in its place. And right over the water. It comes so easy, so perfect, so beautiful.

And so you know that your egg is perfect. It is cut into two halves. And look at that, look at this yellow. Perfect yellow throughout. No discoloration on the sides. This is a perfect hard boiled egg.

Baby Bam Seasoning spices recipe

I can not cook without them !! You can not eat without it !!

I love this product. I do not salt, but add the celery salt. I tell you this is a spice that can go with anything and everything. I and a few others, and gave them as Christmas gifts to my sisters and my mother. One of my brothers-in-law has a little a little left in the bottle and is now used in special dishes. I have the recipe, so that they can replenish that she really likes. Who knows what happened to him? I told Mom to tell her or give me a call or search the Internet for Baby Bam. I say this spice is better than sliced bread. I'm serious when I say that I do not eat without it. Not to move it seasoned salt. I can not get the salty taste. But Baby Bam is simply the best capital. And I like it my own, because for some reason, it tastes better than the ones I bought at Wal-Mart. Yes, I bought it because when I arrived I did not have my spices and I had to have something in my season with food. I'm cheaper than Kroger and Wal-Mart seen when bought simple !! So those who have not tried it yet - they are losing a good thing !! Keep it up, Emeril !! But sauces are too spicy for the kids. Enter something so they feel for the little ones not left alone !!

Apple-Bacon Blue Cheese Cheesecake Recipe

on test

If you do not like blue cheese, so do not try this cheesecake. People hear the word cheese, think sweet, not salty. This cheese is the last of the two. I like blue cheese, but do not think that the blue cheese covered the taste of the other ingredients. I'll adjust the recipe depending on where I'm going to use. I will definitely do it again !! Makes you stand out in the working groups, where everyone brings store-bought cookies !!

Chicken nuggets make children and adults ...

The best chicken nuggets ever!

Firstly, I love this recipe because it more or less almost exclusively homemade, with exception of ranch dressing ... you can also do! My two year old entitlement did not hesitate to clean your plate. My 5-year-old moaned as I wanted it, not to try them. But after he did, he said it was the best chicken nuggets ever had. He kept asking for more, but not for long! My husband and I were very impressed with this recipe too. I have a friend and his family. They are much healthier and tastier than frozen storage. I recommend this recipe and experiment with different marinades and cookies to make new and interesting flavors.
