Penne alla vodka first
It was the first time I penne alla vodka, but certainly not the last. It was pink, creamy and delicious. I would usually chicken with this dish, but I threw in the cooked shrimp instead. I do not know that I have no tomato sauce / puree. All I had was tomato paste. Improvising, I combined 7 ounces tomato paste and about 10 ml of water, Italian seasoning, basil and oregano in a bowl and stir until it looked and tasted more like tomato sauce. Warm up leftovers are even better!
