Have you ever tried to use lawyers on a bun ...

Some quick sweet bread is an unusual way to use lawyers. Buttermilk is a great way to add richness without a lot of fat.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 50 minutes

Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4.3 cup sugar
  • 1.1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Half a teaspoon of baking powder
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • 1 large egg
  • Half a cup of pureed avocado (1 medium avocado)
  • Half a cup of buttermilk
  • Half a cup of chopped walnuts

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Generously grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Mixing whisk.

In another bowl, beat egg and avocado. Stir in the buttermilk. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in walnuts.

Pour into pan and bake is used for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick in the center comes out clean.

Yield: 1 loaf
