Green tomato and apple chutney recipe

Preparation

Mixing green tomatoes, apples, onions, raisins, brown sugar, ginger, pepper, allspice, salt and garlic in a pan of stainless steel. Add 6 tablespoons of vinegar and simmer, add the remaining vinegar and the mixture boils.

Stir the mixture thickens about 45 minutes.

If thick, the transfer in sterile containers chutney. To be sealed when cold. Store in a cool, dark place.

Yield: about 8 pounds
