Team horseradish
Fresh horseradish root is available year round in most markets, but the first season is spring. The roots are to be sold 2 inches long in the sections in the control (although the entire root to 20 inches), measuring 1-2 inches in diameter. Select roots that are firm and green any form or soft. Older roots will look wrinkled and dry. You can even begin to germinate. This should be prevented.Bottle prepared horseradish is readily available in the refrigerated section of the food spice. Prepared horseradish preserved in vinegar and salt. The red variety used beet juice. Spicy dried radish is also available in many markets. It should be dissolved with water or other liquid prior to use, such as Oriental Wasabi powder (offline).
Storage horseradish
Radish root store unwashed in a plastic bag in the drawer of the refrigerator. It begins as soon as it is cut dry, so if you have bought in the market, try to use for everyone in a week or two. When cut or grated, used in a few days, unless you vinegar (see radish cooking tips below).Freezing is not recommended for whole pieces. However, freshly grated horseradish for up to 6 months frozen. You can flash freezing scoop in ice cube trays or on waxed paper and in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer. Note that spicy lost when frozen.
Prepared horseradish will keep up to 3 months in the refrigerator. However, quickly loses spicy and is best used within 3 to 4 weeks. When it gets dark, it's time to start. Gel prepared horseradish is not recommended.
