Preparation
Mix brown sugar and butter in a bowl. Cream until smooth and well blended. Eggs, beating one at a time well after each addition.
Sift cinnamon, allspice, cloves, flour, baking powder and salt. Nuts and data of powder with a small amount of this mixture.
Add the flour mixture alternately with the remaining beer creamed mixture and mix well after each addition. Stir in nuts and dates. Pour. Within the large tube, well buttered and floured Bundt or
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1-1 / 4 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean oven. Let stand for 5 minutes, invert on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and a plate.
Yield: 8-10 servings
